February '08 Update

Greetings all,

First off, I want you to know that we've posted a master list of radio stations in the US that "Shout," the first single from my new album 'In The Pink' has been sent to. It will allow you to find a station near you so you can write or call in to request "Shout." Every request counts! HERE'S THE LIST.
February was a busy month! We’ve been working hard to back up the radio promotion for "Shout," and things are definitely going well. The April 1st release date for 'In The Pink' in the US is coming up fast but we’ve got a great head-start.
We found such strong interest from the AC (adult contemporary) radio format that we’ve focused our energy there. This is the format that still plays "I Love You Always Forever" so regularly. The incredibly good news is that "Shout" has managed to get onto a very important radio chart – the “most added” chart. When new songs are released and promoted to radio stations, the radio stations “add” the ones they like and want to play. During Shout’s first week of availability to AC radio stations enough “adds” were generated to place "Shout" in the number four slot in the most added charts. What a grand beginning!
This week then (starting March 3) is when "Shout" will start being played so keep an ear out and call to request if you hear it!
Another piece of good news is that 'In The Pink' will be released in Canada on April 1st as well as the United States. And regarding the upcoming release, Amazon.com is offering 'In The Pink' for pre-order. You can go to the 'In The Pink' page at Amazon.com and pre-order the album. Then, when April 1st rolls around it will be sent out to you. Here’s the link for the Amzon.com In The Pink page:
On other fronts we’ve recorded a great deal of outdoor footage for the video for "Shout." Now it's off to be edited and made into the final product.
The CD packages are done. We have a bunch of them here at home and they look great. I’m particularly proud to have been able to use some artwork that my sister did in the CD booklet.
"Shout" has been used in an indy film called '32A.' I am going to New York to view the film in early March. Gerry Leonard, who produced 'In The Pink,' wrote the score for the film and "Shout" will be the closing song.
This week I just found out that on iTunes "I Love You Always Forever" still generates over 1100 downloads per week – that’s 12 years after its initial release! Let me take a moment here to thank all of you for that. THANK YOU!
I’m still rehearsing for live performances and getting ready for some upcoming interviews. So, all in all things are rolling along quite well. I’ll keep you posted so check back soon.
All my love, Donna
